Namdroling Incense is a traditional Tibetan monastery incense made at Namdroling Monastery, one of the largest centers of Tibetan Buddhist study and practice in India. Founded in 1963, the monastery is home to thousands of monks and nuns and is known for preserving classical ritual traditions, including incense making for daily prayers and long meditation sessions.
Crafted according to monastic formulations, each stick is made from natural woods, resins, and medicinal herbs, with no bamboo core, allowing it to burn fully and evenly. The aroma is softly sweet, layered with gentle herbal and resinous notes—warm and comforting rather than perfumed.
Each bundle contains 30 incense sticks, with an average burn time of about 80 minutes per stick, depending on airflow and environment. Rooted in living monastic practice, this incense is meant to support sustained focus, calm, and presence during extended periods of prayer or meditation.
